Interesting for all Glioma patients

Hello, everybody. Just came back from a 2 1/2-week trip to China, with my girlfriend. But this blog post is to share a link: I just discovered a short article by Ben Williams, probably the most prominent of Glioma-survivors (its 2 years old, so I haven't done my homework!) Go read it: the link is: http://www.virtualtrials.com/williams.cfm

so much for today, more about China soon.
Take care and stay alive and healthy!

Thomas :-)

  1. If you are interested, there is a review of his book here:

It's a long review, well-developed and apparently fair (it's pretty positive).

  4. Hi, Irene,
Thank you for your comment! God, with 9 Months of age, this is frightening! Even more impressive that your son made it to be a good student, as the Chemotherapy can be very damaging to the developing brain!! I hope I 'll reach the 16 years too. I used to dislike getting older, now every year is a big success!
Thank you for sharing the story, it is very inspiring. You can be proud rightfully!!! My biggest respect! I am sure your loving support had a big part in the good outcome!

  5. Thomass,
Your honest entries are encouraing and inspiring to say the least. I am a 1 month in Stage III Anaplastic Astrocytoma "Survivor" Okay, so I have only had the craniotomy and am on day 11 of the Temodar/Radiation/Avasin combo. But so far so good and I enjoyed reading your "positive" posts. I plan on being a long term cancer "Thriver." I wish you all the best and will continue to keep reading up on you. I look forward to many years of entries my friend.
    Sincerely,
    Eric Brodbeck
