This is a blog about my life with a brain tumor, which has been surgically removed, and seems to be quiet, at least for now (statistics look grim though...) Hopefully to be read by others with the same or a similar condition, maybe I can be of help with information on Doctors, Science (I am a scientist, BTW), treatments, coping..... And if its only to let you know you're not alone!!!
I am so glad I checked in on your blog today. Congratulations! Hurray! He or she looks great and seems to be very content and relaxed.

Thank you, Ingrid! as you can imagine, life has -again- completely changed for us. Its a boy and his name is Leopold(!) Taowen. Hes a happy little fellow and likes to laugh, which is incredible cute to hear (OK probably every parent says that)!!! Anyway, he is a constant source of happiness for us. Now I HAVE to live as long as possible.

I just moved to Germany from the United States (I am a researcher), and I also am a brain tumor survivor. I was grade I. I would love to send you and email and/or chat, I am interested in the care you have received here.
ReplyDeletecare-wise; not much really, I have my occasional MRIs. have a good neurologist for my Keppra. Beyond that I am basically hanging in there and keep my fingers crossed.
